Team Requirements
There are so many different manufacturers and models of weapons, gear and protective equipment out there that it can be hard to decide what you want. The best advice we can give you is to shop around and look at as many models as you can. Go to your local shop/field and ask everyone to hold their different rifles, see how they feel and ask them how they like their gear and if they would recommend it. People are usually very nice and will let you, especially if you are courteous. Just express interest and compliment them and tell them you’re looking around for a weapon and gear that suits your style and personality.
Outsiders Airsoft requires that each member supply their own weapons. We have team equipment that consists of ammunition, radios and other gear that can be used by any current member. In the case that your main weapon malfunctions or breaks, a couple members do own more than one primary and are willing to lend them to members to keep them in the fight.
Outsiders Airsoft does not require that you devote every minute of your life to the team and only asks for the minimum attendance of one meeting/practice and one event a month. We do have more than one of each of these each month but to maintain membership that is the minimum. The Practice and meetings almost always are on the same day.
As a member, we only ask that you treat the team like family and respect each member of the team and the sport. We hold our members to a standard that requires you to be professional on and off of the playing field.
Below are the requirements listed for each member’s uniform and armory. The minimums are listed as well as some suggested items.
*You can go to the link yourself or give money to a Captain or Treasurer and we will order for you*

Minimum Age Requirement
Outsiders Airsoft does have a minimum age limit of 18 years old. The only reason for this is that we travel as a team to new places as often as possible and if you are not at least 18 years old, you can't sign the necessary paperwork.

Spare Items
Many of the members of our team carry spare mags and speed loaders on their person in the event that someone has trouble or runs out of ammo. It is good to think this way and could possibly help the team in completing an objective that would have otherwise been impossible. It is not a necessity but it is looked well upon if you always carry at least two spare mags on your person at all times. We understand that not everyone will carry the same rifle but we like to try and help out as best as we can.
It is also helpful to yourself and the team to carry an extra battery on your person while playing. Rather than stopping and having to go back to replace your battery, you can do it in the field.
We encourage everyone to "pair off" with someone to always have extra items that are compatible with each other.
